On the 17th December 2016, WSSAG held a Christmas Party for all of the mother’s and children that attend WSSAG support groups… and what a lovely party it was! WSSAG have enjoyed celebrating a wonderful year of growth and we look forward to continuing this in 2017. Below are some photographs of our party and some of the donations received.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a special thanks to:
The Mother’s Union, Llandaff Diocese, for their generous donations of the children’s gifts for the party and toiletries that we distribute through our drop in sessions throughout the year.
St Mary’s Church – Bute Town for the use of their Church Hall, where we hosted our Christmas Party this year.
Claire Partridge,Angela Spettie & their colleagues in Tesco House, Maes Y Coed for the mountain of toys collected and donated for our children. We are very grateful to you and whilst the majority of the toys have been given to the children who access WSSAG services, some of these toys will be used for our new parent & child playgroup starting in 2017!
All of our volunteers wh0 helped to make our Christmas Party a great success on the day by helping to set up the room, serve food and D.J for the children’s games (pass the parcel, musical chairs and musical statues) and not forgetting the very tasty donations of a variety of food and cakes cooked by our ladies.
On behalf of all of the team at WSSAG, we would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy holiday season. We look forward to seeing you all in the new year!
